Day 2497, to the?

Daily picture, Poetry
Is it luck that a branch
of a tree
grows
to where the sun is

Day 2119, looking for.

Day's pictures, Poetry

I woke up

walking between white trees

and black branches

~

my new world was chaos

trees everywhere

but here

~

I fell backward

stumbled

it turned

~

I saw the rows

suddenly

and the trees

for the first time

~

disorder was just a misstep

and a turn

away

~

am I now afraid

to move

is that what I thought

just before I fell asleep

again

Day 2103, from my window 2.

Day's pictures

From our living room, we have a nice view over the valley to the sea; the sea is just behind the horizon. This is the most prominent tree, and today we had a light blizzard, and it did what I usually would do in my photo editing program…if I am lucky.

Day 1504, get closer.

Day's pictures, Poetry

Day 1504.jpg

There are so many

standing together

~

when you get closer

you see less

~

but the small details

tell there own

stories

Day 1349, no luster.

Day's pictures, Poetry

Day 1349.jpg

Modern worship

is transparent

like a tree

in winter

~

you can see

the heavens

but

the luster

of summer

and green shade

is gone

Day 1301, forms.

Day's pictures, Poetry

Day 1301.jpg

If I stare

standing up

upwards

at a tree

long enough

~

natures forms

will be slowly

drawn

in to

me

Day 1262, leaf.

Day's pictures, Poetry

Day 1262-1.jpg

I detach

and fall

for a short time

colors stay

vibrant on the hard soil

underneath

the tree

where I grew up

Day 1163, reaching.

Day's pictures, Poetry

Day 1163-1.jpg

With no regards

for the world around

this little shoot

goes reaching

for the sun

in the shadows

of the past

this mighty structure

that gives

and takes
