I dug deep to reach a place to take away where nothing no longer came out I looked upon the result a hole with besides it what's left excavated the beauty of what once was that hole

It sounds like you were searching for something and ended up finding a hole. Alongside the hole, you saw the remains of what was once there, and perhaps even found beauty in it. Is that correct?

I a certain way… I took this picture today after I driled a hole in a piece of wood and the drill bitt produced this rather beautiful leftover, I removed the wood so I could replace it with a better looking plug. But the metaphor is that by removing suspected flaws that seem to be ugly you might regret it when you see it separated, (maybe later in life) , maybe the flaw is only ugly when you think it’s part of you, or that it defines you. Something like that.
